Muara Enim, August 25, 2023 - In order to celebrate Indonesia's 78th Independence Day, PT Satria Bahana Sarana (SBS) organized various activities involving its employees.

The event took place at the Headquarters Courtyard of PT SBS located at Jalan Jurang Parigi Dalam No.5, Talang Jawab, Tanjung Enim, Muara Enim Regency on Friday (August 25, 2023).

Tug-of-war, cucumber relay, sarong relay, marble relay, flour and pencil relay, as well as workspace decoration contests, were held to enhance the unity among employees and to adorn workspaces. Competitions like "eating crackers" and "catching eels" were also part of the event to reminisce about traditional games.

Agus Hariadi, the Finance Director of PT SBS, stated that these activities were carried out to commemorate the services of the heroes who fought for Indonesia.

"As part of commemorating Indonesia's Independence Day, various contests are held to foster cooperation and togetherness among the employees," said Agus at the PT SBS office on Friday (August 25, 2023).

These activities are expected to stimulate creative ideas among employees, enhance camaraderie through teamwork, and, of course, keep alive the spirit of independence within every individual at PT SBS, so that the ultimate goal of advancing PT SBS can be achieved.

Oniawan, the Chairman of the 78th Indonesian Independence Day Committee, shared Agus's viewpoint, noting that this event could serve as a valuable platform to infuse the values of struggle into daily work for the company's success.

"A variety of contests were simultaneously held in two locations, namely at the Main Service Facility (MSF) and the Head Office of PT SBS. What sets this year's event apart from the previous year's is the competition to decorate workspaces with an independence theme, involving all units with the wholehearted participation of each member. This Indonesian Independence Day event marks the second year that PT SBS has organized, with the theme 'Indonesia Jaya SBS Jaya'," said Oniawan.

Looking ahead, Oniawan hopes that these activities will continue to be organized and their quality will be elevated, so that the spirit of the struggle for independence continues to inspire and grow in the hearts of employees, contributing to Indonesia's progress and the advancement of the company.
